We are committed to building a strong, impactful community, which means we hold our mentors to a high standard of excellence, integrity, and accountability.

Mentor Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for a mentor role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Be at least 28 years of age or older 
- Currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee 
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
- Demonstrate strong character, professionalism, and leadership ability 
- Be willing to commit to mentoring, workshops, and monthly meetings 
- Be open to guiding and pouring into women and young girls from diverse backgrounds 
- Successfully pass a background check 
- Provide at least one professional or character reference

Application Requirements

All mentor applicants are required to complete the following as part of the application process:

- Submit a one-page essay answering: 
  “Why do you feel you are ready to lead, guide, and pour into other women and young girls?”

- Provide a reflection of personal growth by listing: 
  - 3 major goals you have accomplished 
  - 3 small goals you have accomplished

- Share relevant experience, including: 
  - Leadership, mentorship, or community involvement 
  - Personal strengths and areas of expertise 

This process ensures that every mentor has both the experience and self-awareness needed to lead effectively.

Mentor Selection & Onboarding Process

Our mentor selection process is designed to maintain the quality and integrity of our program while ensuring alignment with our mission.

Step 1: Submit Application 
Complete the full mentor application with all required materials.

Step 2: Application Review 
Our team carefully reviews each submission to assess qualifications, alignment, and readiness.

Step 3: Interview Process 
Selected applicants will be invited to participate in a virtual or in-person interview to further evaluate leadership, communication, and mentorship approach.

Step 4: Background Check & Reference Verification 
All mentors must successfully pass a background check and reference review.

Step 5: Acceptance Notification 
Applicants will receive a decision regarding their application status.

Step 6: Mandatory Mentor Orientation 
Accepted mentors are required to attend an onboarding session covering program expectations, mentorship standards, and organizational values.

Step 7: Official Placement 
Mentors will be matched and placed within the program and begin their journey of impact.
